yay! Feel all happy and excited for my BEST fren's lunar birthday! haha but that phrase, u shld have guessed that it is not the exact day.. we brought the date forward! haha. rationalE: cos the present i bought for her is distraction based...buy it early so that she wont get distracted when alevel comes! (although it is INDEED coming)
anw.. ya today was a TOTALLY boring day except maybe for GEOG? haha. MS huang quite entertaining..and i am amazed can! she can speed thru urban so fast. lol
Ya went to watch Journey to the centre of the Earth today. HOHO! quite nice.. mmm the effects and visual impacts are unexpecting then i think its quite cool! i give 4 star out of 5! =D but correctly pointed by MCO, some science facts in the story like the chronology in which dinosaurs should have appeared is wrong! and the nature of volcano in Iceland..mmm.. is like tat one meh? but its nice larh! if there really lies a centre of the earth.. and i tell that it is a haven.. but in order to get it u have to risk you life.. will u go for it or to stay where u are? i guess as of now.. i will choose to stay put. my definition of haven may be different from yours, my apologises, i feel that a haven is some where u live comfortably with your loved ones and you are doing things that you have passion in. If i go to the centre of the earth, firstly: i may lose my life, secondly: without my frens and family (not all possibly so heng can make it there) i don't think its quite of haven anymore, thirdly: what am i going to do whole day?! like HARLO!! there only got plants and animals.. grow crops? ya my point is, many people often try to find the most perfect thing in life, but often they failed to understand what is actually most impt. In the world where paper chase is a social norm, are we losing our human characteristic ie love etc. the very factor that distinguish us, homosapiens, from the animals?
okok digress.. the show is nice.=D
anw ya so after the show we walked about AMK then i bought muffins! actually i dun feel like eating them.. but i saw them and reminds me of my neighbour! she always share good food with us and altho my mom often buy food for them (the sharing interaction), i still wanna buy them nice things!she is nice.haha. In the past, I always thought that receiving gift, i will be the riches and happiest and fulfilled person! But as I grow and mature, seeing many things come and go, materials seem less trivial especially in the face of phenomena crisis around the world me realise how minute i am to the world.. material goods are not going to get me the whatever spiritual achievement and stuff. and YA! i was super happy i bought the muffin today. just like just now when i pass Khong the present and the newspaper articles of Li,Feng,Wang, Phelps and Tao Li. Maybe seeing people being happy is what gives me the fufilment gut feeling bah. Can you image the viral dissesmination of happiness? If i help 1 or make 1 person happy today. he or she inturns do the same for another.. like VIRUS! i hope the world, seemingly to be horrifying and ugly, will become better. There is saying that babies who just arrived are the purest at heart, it is the environment that corrupt them .Then I have a small wish, whatever small acts we do each day will collectively changed the "corrupting" atmosphere.. our newborns will be really INNOCENT.
