Got back from beijing on 21st june..lazy to blog till now.
the trip made me changed the impression of china...for abit at least. The other time i went china was to Shanghai, Suzhou,Hangzhou, Wuxi and forgot where alr..maybe its because of the olympics,the environment compared to the other time was MUCH cleaner and lesser hazy.I like the temperature at beijing..walking out on the streets is like walking in an aircon room...mayb the sunlight spoil the atmosphere abit.but its super cooling and cos the humidity is low..i dun sweat!haha.But on the down side, my face got peeling symptoms..lol..too dry alr.
Went to climb the great wall of china..the wall is REALLY GREAT! super long,super steep and despite the regular exercise regime i had, it is still very exhausting to climb up..BUT I MADE IT to the top of that section!haha.the view is magnificient! like..WOAH...like i am SO CLOSE TO THE SKY! everything at the bottom are like ants..so small. The tour guide was telling us abit about the history of the WALL...Millions of people died building it..look at the size of it..i have no doubt that it is true.Braving through the different climate..with little rest and maybe little food.. these ppl gotta carry those small little bricks up and down (mind you, there is no machines at that time)What were these ppl thinking when they are building the wall..?What was the emperor thinking?that the scarifice of the millions to make the country a fortress was worth it? I can't comprehend. Mayb that is what people call..FOR THE GREATER GOOD.
The 7days at china was eye-opening..scenary, old buildings that were build by the Qing, Ming..blah blah dynasty..SUPERB! The shopping place at CHina was also eye-opening...one word to describe? FEROCIOUS. I was once grabbed by 2 Chinese women when i entered a shop to enquire about a top..then i said i will come back again..they just grabbed me even harder! insisting that i negotiate the price with them and not just walk off! I was stuck there for...15mins?then another customer came, i used the few seconds of distraction to "escape" the shop. PHEW. Moral of the story? DONT ENTER A SHOP ALONE.. ok and then i went to call my mom and sis..we went to the shop to buy the top TOGETHER! haha.
All in all..The experience in China made me see many perspective of the country and her people. The thought that my ancestors were from China does made me feel proud that I am a Chinese too.SOMEHOW.

GOing to watch my prison break season 4! type more when i dun feel lazy.HAHA.
